Get over it man
I was going through my old notes for a class on Zionism I took last year. I have this fun little note of what my Israeli professor said at one point.
“Some people have described Zionism as colonialism. It is not, because it was not a strong country taking control of another. Any how, look at Canada. It was a colonial state. It dispossessed the natives, but you get over it, you move on, yeah? Finish, it’s done. Israel is like Canada now too. Just go to Tel Aviv and you’ll know what I mean”.
I keep saying over and over again, that zios and racists do our work for us. I don’t need to make any analytical arguments or draw any parallels to prove anything any more. I just point at what they say and shrug.
That class was something else, I’ll tell you that much. Anyway, thought I’d share.
